Accessibility Commitment
The World Bank is committed to strengthening the accessibility of our websites and its digital content for people with disabilities.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
The World Bank’s disabilitydata.worldbank.org domain is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Limitations and Alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the Disability Data Hub, we recognize that there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations which we are working to address, and potential solutions.
Dynamic Data Charts: In addition to reading the chart data, screen readers may also read complex, non-data elements in the dynamic charts.
Data Charts Color Combination. We are working on improving the color contrast and color palettes of our charts and maps.

Feedback and moving forward
The website is currently undergoing accessibility tests and active development to improve the experience for all users.
We will consult with persons with disabilities and those using various assistive technologies to ensure accessibility in order to inform the page contents and design.
